Michigan Rep. Thomas Albert (R-Lowell) criticized Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's executive order, which allows some boats to be used, while others fall under the restricted-use category.

"Just so everybody is aware, if you use a fishing boat with oars to go fishing, that is allowed in Gov. Whitmer’s executive order," Albert said on Facebook. "However, if you add a motor to the same fishing boat, that would be criminal activity!"

Albert continued his post by saying that this executive order isn't reasonable and in no way protects the health of Michigan residents.

Several Michiganders responded to Albert's Facebook post and agreed with him that restricting some boats and not others isn't reasonable. Some also called for Gov. Whitmer to be removed from office.

"This is highly unreasonable, will not protect public health and is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!" Albert wrote on Facebook. "Gov. Whitmer must revise her most recent executive order and restore our Constitutional rights now!"
