City of Belding issued the following announcement on Oct 12.
A public hearing will be held by the City of Belding Board of Zoning Appeals for the purpose of consideration of a request for a variance to the Zoning Ordinance for the City of Belding, Ionia County, Michigan, submitted by Fred and Janet Clark for property located at 545 W. May Street. The public hearing will be held:
Monday, November 1, 2021
5:30 p.m.
Pere Marquette Depot, 100 Depot Street
The applicant requests:
1. 545 W. May Street - a Dimensional Non-Use Variance to Chapter 15, Section 15.1
of the Belding Zoning Ordinance to consider a request allowing for a 6-foot side
yard variance to the City of Belding’s Zoning Ordinance to build an addition to the
existing home.
Members of the public are invited to attend and may comment on the requested Variances. The application along with any supporting documents (if any supporting documents are provided) may be viewed at City Hall, 120 S. Pleasant Street, Belding, MI during normal business hours. Any written comments need to be provided to the City Clerk at least seven (7) days prior to the Public Hearing.
If special accommodations are needed to participate in this public hearing, please call the City at least three (3) days in advance.
