The original Sparky the Fire Dog was created in 1951. Kids could send in .25 cents to be part of Sparky's Fire Dept. In 1960 Sparky had his own song and then in 1970 he became larger than life !! In 2000's Sparky seems to mean business. There is no messing with him when it comes to fire safety.
Sparky is now 71 and he is still getting the message out about the importance of fire safety. He has lots of helpers around the world and we hope you are one of them spreading fire safety to those around you.
