Next week both St. Michael Catholic School and Grand Ledge Public Schools will begin the 2022-2023 school year. This is a perfect time for all drivers to remember the critical importance of stopping for buses and following the law.
When the yellow lights of a school bus are flashing, drivers need to slow down and prepare to stop. When the red lights of a school bus are flashing, drivers must stop. Yes, even when driving on W. Saginaw Hwy/M-43.
Please use extra caution around all pedestrians, especially near schools and bus stops.
