Please note: This is a virtual class utilizing a webinar format.  A link to the webinar will be sent to you on the day of the event.  Please check that your email address is correct in the registration process so you will receive the link.

The Sparrow Demonstration Kitchen, will host a VIRTUAL 4-class series dedicated to improving knowledge and kitchen skills for eating a heart-healthy diet! This is a FREE class offered to the Lansing community!

Join us online to learn about heart-healthy nutrition and watch us create delicious recipe for heart health.  Classes focus on increasing fiber, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, while decreasing saturated fat and sodium intake.

Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-6:00 pm via webinar.

May 19th – “Celebrate Flavor”

May 26th – “Taste the Rainbow”

June 2nd – “Ancient Grains”

June 9th – “Meals from the Heart”

A few days before class, we will email you the recipes and handout(s) for the class.  You are more than welcome to make any of the recipes before class or give them a try after class.  If you make them before class, we'd love to see your plates during class.  If you make them after class, please send us photos!
