Tuesday, April 22: Ionia High School standout Erin Groom’s college team loses to Saginaw Valley State Cardinals

On Tuesday, April 22, former Ionia High School standout Erin Groom’s current college team, the Northwood Timberwolves, lost 14-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.

The game took place at Fisher Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Timberwolves’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Firestone Stadium against Findlay Oilers.
