The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has released the names of student-athletes who have made it to the 2023 GLIAC Spring All-Academic and All-Academic Excellence Teams. The criteria for selection require that student-athletes be active members of their respective teams at the end of the season and not be freshmen or first-year transfer students.

To qualify for the All-Academic Teams, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) between 3.0 and 3.49. For inclusion in the Academic Excellence Teams, a GPA between 3.50 and 4.0 is required. These GPAs are based on grades obtained through the winter semester of 2022-23.

Davenport University has performed notably, with a total of 112 student-athletes included in these lists: 30 with GPAs ranging from 3.0 to 3.49, and an impressive count of 82 with GPAs from 3.5 to 4.0.

The detailed list includes athletes from various sports such as baseball, softball, lacrosse, golf, tennis, outdoor track and field among others, each with different academic focuses ranging from finance to nursing.

These achievements reflect both athletic commitment and academic excellence within Davenport University's sports programs.
