How many people were old enough to vote in Ionia County during 2021?

Of the 66,564 citizens living in Ionia County in 2021, 77.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 51,758 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 28,114 were male, constituting 54.3%, and 23,644 were female, making up 45.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Ionia County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78.2%.
