Michigan Alliance for Families IEP Course

A2

Ionia ISD | Free CCO Credit

Ionia ISD | Free CCO Credit

Parents who want to better understand their role on the IEP team are invited to a free five-week online IEP Course.

Registration for the next Michigan Alliance for Families IEP Course will open on Monday, January 30, 2023.

Through coursework, discussion, and individual support from a Parent Mentor, you'll apply what you are learning to your own child's IEP.

This course is only for parents/guardians with a child/young adult who is currently receiving special education services.

Space is limited, registration closes February 9 or when full. After registration closes, a Parent Mentor will contact you to confirm your attendance. Then you will receive a confirmation email with the link to attend.

If the IEP Course isn't the right fit for you, check out our 2022-2023 calendar of virtual learning opportunities. We offer "IEP: A Closer Look" once a month at different times of day, because we know parents need to hear that information whenever they come to a spot in their child's IEP where they have questions and need support.

Michigan families can connect with a Regional Parent Mentor at any time for individualized assistance.
