A friendly message from the library -
Welcome to winter folks! Are you feeling the winter blues? Kiddos have a lot of energy? We have both programs and resources to assist with that. We have a study room (lower level), computers, and quiet reading areas upstairs. For those energetic kids that can run circles around most people we have a great play area with educational computer games, toys, dress up area and our well-loved train set. Fancy a board game or puzzle? Come on in and play a few.
The FIRST Wednesday of each month we have our Senior Social Bingo at 2pm and we play for prizes. EVERY Wednesday at 10:30am we have story time with Miss Barbara, they listen to a story and do a craft that corresponds with the theme of the story. This is a great way to meet other parents and children in the area. We will be starting up an Adult reading challenge in January. Also in January we have two different adult monthly book clubs that will meet (one A.M. & one P.M.). We are still developing our winter schedule so please follow us on Facebook or drop into the library for updated schedules.
If you would rather purchase a used book to take home we do have a book sale room on the lower level of our building.
