It’s an Important Part of Our Learning Day Kindergarten Center Time Activities
Mrs. Johnson knows that center time is important for Lakewood Early Childhood Center kindergarteners. She believes in them; her little Vikings are ready to take some responsibility for learning. Centers give students an opportunity to practice what they’ve been learning as they rotate through different activities. They count, read, build, draw, write, work independently, work together, and practice cleaning up after the fun. Students are growing in social skills, making choices, and understanding expectations. These foundational skills prepare them for life at Lakewood Elementary School. Our youngest learners benefit from free-flowing opportunities to flex their skills. We applaud our kindergarten educators who do the important work of help students develop abilities that propel them forward in their educational journey!
