World Rabies Day!
Rabies is a viral disease of mammals most commonly transmitted by a rabid animal bite which should be followed by seeking medical attention. Reduce your risk by avoiding close interactions with wild animals, vaccinating your family pets, and sealing any holes/cracks in your home. If you are at high risk for rabies, Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) can be administered to prevent infection before exposure.
