Public Transportation Driver
The City of Belding Dial-A-Ride is accepting applications for a part-time fill-in for the position of Public Transportation Driver. Dial-A-Ride services run Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with the possibility of an occasional Saturday. Duties include operating a small bus, rider interaction, performing daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, collection of fares, operating a hydraulic lift, mobility device securement, monitoring the activity and safety onboard the vehicle, two-way radio communication with dispatch and other drivers, and other duties as assigned. Candidates must possess a good driving record, and must submit to a pre-employment drug test.
