Beginning Tuesday, September 13, 2022, the railroad will be doing crossing work at the south side of the Grand River. The bridge on Hudson will be closed until September 16, 2022. The detour around this will be Jackson St.
Also, beginning on the same day, Fulton and Main Street will be repaved between Cumberland in Lowell Township to Valley Vista. Completion date has not been provided to the City nor has any detour route.
The City is not involved in either project as Hudson is a county road and Main St is a state highway. Both are being managed by the Kent County Road Commission. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the KCRC at 616-242-6900.
