Another fun weekend in the City of Niles is coming your way! Check out the post below to plan your visit.
First, stop by Riverfront Park tonight and see Back to the Future as part of the Free Friday Movies in the Park! The movies begin at dusk and are completely FREE to the public. Tonight's movie is sponsored by Jim's Smokin' Café. Please note that, while the movie is free, concessions at Wonderland Cinema are not.
Then, head to the 2022 Niles Burn Run at Riverfront Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 30 & 31. You'll find the Car, Truck, and Bike Show on Saturday plus lots of vendors, food, and live music. Sunday marks kickstands up for the 50-mile motorcycle ride through Berrien and Cass Counties. These festivities support Great Lakes Burn Camp, which allows children affected by fire to connect with others and just be kids.
Before your Sunday Burn Run trip, stop by the Niles Law Enforcement Complex, 1600 Silverbrook, from 11:00am-2:00pm for the Niles City and State Police Open House. You can try your hand at the dunk tank, check out the drunk goggles, and meet the team! K-9 Wezyr will be there with his handler, plus the Bomb Squad and recruiters.
End the weekend at Riverfront Amphitheater and see the Darryl Buchanan Trio as part of the Niles Summer Concert Series on Sunday, July 31, at 6:00pm.
It's shaping up to be quite the exciting summer... We'll see you there!
