Children's Sensory Garden Updates

We are so happy to report that our garden has now been planted! We can’t wait to see how things start looking in just a few weeks. Some of our new plants include cabbage, eggplant, green pepper, tomato, cucamelon, honeydew melon, and pumpkin! We also have a full herb garden with mint, orange thyme, chives, and more! Our returning strawberry patch is starting to thrive; we have one berry and multiple blossoms on the plants.

With lots of water and love over the next few weeks, we are really looking forward to kicking off The Fresh Food Bonanza on July 18th. We are inviting patrons to pick from the many fresh herbs and veggies in our garden, take the pickings home, and create some edible magic in the kitchen! Stay tuned for more information on this program for the whole family!

The next phase of our garden project includes preparing all the raised beds and the pencil wall for some new rainbow paint colors!
