Today, with a wonderful crowd for support, the City of Grand Ledge officially celebrated four new amenities that can be accessed along Riverwalk Trail.
- THE TYLER LEE MURPHY MEMORIAL FISHING DOCK – made possible by a generous donation from Tyler Murphy’s family and friends
- INFORMATIONAL FISHING SIGN - with images of fish found in the Grand River, hand-painted and donated by Councilmember Tom Jancek
- INTERACTIVE MURAL, “CAUGHT IN GL” - painted by spectacular local artist, Art of Adrienne, and donated by the Downtown Development Authority
- Fish with a Cop EVENTS – Grand Ledge Police Department will host events on June 29 and July 13 from 10 AM – 12 PM, www.cityofgrandledge.com/406/Fish-with-a-Cop
With the help of Mayor Pro-Tem, Keith Mulder, Tyler Murphy’s family, Grand Ledge Police Chief Osterholzer, and Chair of the Parks & Recreation Commission, Dave Logel today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the power of art, generosity, and the greater Grand Ledge community.
Thank you, Grand Ledge!
