This year the Portland District Library is celebrating March is Reading Month with a special fine forgiveness program for patrons ages 18 & under. Pick up a ticket starting March 1st to log your minutes read and start working down those overdue fines. For every 1 minute read, we’ll forgive 1 cent in fines. What if you’re such a responsible library user that you don’t have any overdue fines?!?! Bring in your library card and we’ll have a little something special for you! Program will run March 1st through March 31st.
