City of Belding issued the following announcement on Jan 26.
Applications are being accepted for the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. These volunteer positions are appointed by the City Council and offer an excellent opportunity to make a difference and serve our community.
Planning Commission – Meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., serving a three-year term. Currently there are two vacancies to be filled.
Zoning Board of Appeals – Meets as needed, serving a three-year term. Currently there is one vacancy to be filled.
A description of the focus of each board, along with an Application for Consideration for Appointment is available on the city website: www.belding.mi.us, or can be picked up at City Hall, 120 S. Pleasant Street, or can be mailed/emailed to you.
