Ionia ISD issued the following announcement on Dec 21.
On Wednesday, December 15th, Freedom Acres was blessed to welcome Mr. & Mrs. Claus. Thank you to Lakewood Auxiliary and VFW for their kind donation of money to purchase gifts for learners in our ISD programs at Freedom Acres and in MoCI (Moderately Cognitively Impaired) classrooms. Michigan Reformatory has been an amazing giving partner to our learners and they graciously donated no sew blankets to our learners.
Daniel Schafer, MDOC Recreation Director, has been a collaborative partner between our school district and Michigan Reformatory.
Karlee from Brick Street Photography donated her time and resources to capture the Christmas memories at Freedom Acres!
