City of Belding recently issued the following announcement.
PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF BELDING PLANNING COMMISSION
A public hearing will be held by the City of Belding Planning Commission for the purpose of consideration of a request to rezone the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Belding, Ionia County, Michigan for property located at 1135 W. State Street. The public hearing will be held:

6:30 p.m.

100 Depot Street
a.) The applicant, Twin Oaks Investments, LLC requests to rezone the property located at 1135 W. State Street, Parcel #401-250-000-310-00 from B2 (General Business District), RM-1 (Multi-family Residential) and R2 (Single Family Residential) to R2 (Single Family Residential) only.
Members of the public are invited to attend and may comment on requests to rezone. The application and supporting documents may be viewed at City Hall, 120 S. Pleasant Street, Belding, MI during normal business hours. Any written comments need to be provided to the City Clerk at least seven (7) days prior to the Public Hearing.
If special accommodations are needed to participate in this public hearing, please call the City at least three (3) days in advance.
