Grand Rapids SE issued the following announcement on August 21.
Police are investigating a shooting late Wednesday, Aug. 21, on the city’s Southeast Side.
The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, Grand Rapids police said.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Baxter Street SE, east of Eastern Avenue.
No arrests have been made.
