On Thursday, March 27, former Ionia High School standout Erin Groom’s current college team, the Northwood Timberwolves, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Findlay Oilers.

The game took place at Fisher Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Oilers this season.

The Timberwolves’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Johnny Williams Field against Hillsdale Chargers.
