Ambassador Carla Hills, former U.S. trade representative and chief negotiator of NAFTA and the Uruguay Round, will give to 2019 Thomas O. Enders lecture on U.S.-Canadian Relations titled “How Free Trade Made U.S. Relations with Canada and Mexico Better” for the Center for Canadian Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Hills’ remarks will include an assessment of the proposed U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA) that could replace NAFTA and a discussion of trade diplomacy.
