College tuition fees rose 3% in Barry County in the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Data shows that students paid $8,060 on average to attend the Michigan Career and Technical Institute courses at the time, $236 more than the previous school year.

For comparison, Michigan universities charge students an annual average of $16,000 per year.

At the time, a total of $87,073 in grants or scholarships were awarded to full-time undergraduates who enrolled in the university.

Currently, there are 109 students enrolled in the Michigan Career and Technical Institute.
